July 9, 2023: The Carrera Arroyo: Classic German Autos

Hosted by Makina and G’s on Sunday, this year’s Carrera Arroyo collaboration is an expression of love and appreciation for the Los Angeles Car Culture and the freeway that helped create it.  Beginning in Chinatown and continuing North on the historic Arroyo Seco Parkway, the cruise wil culminate at Guisados Pasadena for some breakfast tacos, coffee and plenty of parking.

MORNING START

We suggest that all drivers plan to arrive in Chinatown by 7am as we plan to pull out at 7:40am and begin the cruise up the Arroyo Parkway. Driver notes will be distributed the morning of the event with route and more information. 

7am 759 N Hill Street, Los Angeles CA 

7:40-8am - cruise N on 110 fwy towards final destination

8-10:30am - 577 S Arroyo Parkway, Pasadena CA 91105

PHOTO CONTEST

Photographers and friends are encouraged to submit their best/ favorite photo from Sundays meet! Snap some shots in the lot, perch up along the freeway (overpasses etc) as the cars pass by and send your photo to enter the photo contest. Winner of the contest will win a Makina x G's on Sunday prize pack!

How to Enter: Once you have chosen your favorite photo please email to info@makinadriversclub.com

Please include your name and instagram handle in the email. All submissions must be in by 8pm on July 11. 

All submissions will be shared for voting the following day, and followers will be encouraged to vote for their favorite. Once we narrow down the winner, they will be announced and receive a collaborative prize pack from the G's x Makina team. Anyone and everyone is welcome to submit. 

ROUTE

Below is the Sunday morning Route. We will be pulling out of the Chinatown lot from 7:30 - 7:40am. Cars will be seen along the freeway for the next 30 mins as we arrive at Guisados Pasadena
